Loss and Found

more than shadows
succumb to night
missing something
tearing things apart
searcher he
pushes aside darker clouds
loud branches blocking  touching
a too weak moon
shards of stars slice
bleed their icy blues
these too under
a too weak moon
his is hunger now
salt in hard wind
wind in stripped trees
frantic trees and weak moon
snow falls from the moon
tracking snow
falls everywhere
the moon  stronger now
lights the pine
finds his longing
loss filling deeply
with new snow

  1. Sometimes poems just take you somewhere.
You have to be open to letting that happen.
It isn't always easy, because sometimes I want more "logic" to it.
I also struggle when an image triggers a poem and then it gels in a way I don't expect.
    Be fluid.
